April Sue grew up in a small rural community in Hillsdale County, Michigan, where family, community, and relationship-building formed a strong foundation that continues to guide her work today. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Olivet College in 1993, followed by a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from the University of Akron in 2001.
Throughout her career, April has been consistently guided by intentional engagement, authentic relationship-building, and an approachable, collaborative style. She brings extensive experience facilitating team-building, effective communication, and goal-setting workshops. In addition, she has worked closely with individuals to support conversations around healthy relationships, effective communication, emotional regulation, and navigating life transitions.
April’s goal is to meet people where they are—listening to their needs and goals—and to partner with them in developing practical, personalized plans to support growth, connection, and success.
